Written from 419 Wandsworth Road, London SW. Thanks him for a letter he wrote to her after he had read her 'Recollections' of her husband; his full appreciation of her husband's character touched her deeply. She asks if she can consult him about the locality for a home. Does he know anything about Balham? She must have some open places near the house and have quiet for work and a rent not above £ 60 a year. Also on another matter: a Swiss friend of hers wishes her eldest son to go to an English Public School and before that to place him in some English Family anywhere he can learn English.
