'I do not see why Mr Burfoot should stay all the time at Stockholm. Of course I should be very glad to have his Report for the 'Dawn''
This concerned the coming Federation Conference at Stockholm 10-12 Sep. Mr Burfoot as a good shorthand writer was a great help to JB at all the Conferences (for all the English speeches) and when not able to be present herself she had to rely on him entirely as she says here.
The Dawn was a monthly newssheet run by JB, 1st no May 1888, last no Oct 1896.
'to wait a little longer for the remainder of the debt I owe you'
See letter of 30 Mar from JB to Mrs Tanner thanking her for sending her a cheque for present use ... till they have settled matters'
