In thinking of Mr Allan's trials [see letters of 2 Dec 1905 and 18 Mar 1906] she derives comfort by reading the daily texts on 'the beautiful calendar which Mrs Terrell send me'. Asks her to tell Harriet that Miss Moodie [her new landlady] is a good cook. 'But I am a skeleton still'.
