Written from Burton on Trent. Describes a meeting they had at Chesterfield; hall crowded; after his address challenged any opponent to come up and support the Acts, but no one ventured. Another meeting was requested. Praised Bligh though he requires a little instruction in the art of public speaking. Have discussed with him the matter of working the outlying districts.
