'arrangements are on foot for this meeting' - This was the meeting on Friday 17 Jan at the Trades Union Congress at Leeds held the week beginning the 13th to which delegates to the Congress were invited. They were addressed by JB and others (See letter of 27 Dec 1872 and for a further account of the meeting see the 'Shield' 25 Jan pp 25, 28)
