Much touched by her wish to see her son; he and his family have been having a holiday on the Yorkshire Moors and he has to return to St Andrews University on the 24th where he holds the post of Prof of Physical Sciences. He has now arranged for her to come by the train which reaches York at 6 pm. I am sure he will call and see you with his son 'and will be grateful for your kind memory of his father and your kindness to his mother'
