Blanche Leppington to Henry J Wilson

Scope and Content

Written from Leamington

Concerning the Handbook (see letter dated 10 Nov 1896) she says: 'Every phrase you quote from the Handbook is susceptible of a double interpretation...mine as well as is your knowledge of men and methods that puts you up to it.' But he need not worry as she does not propose to pit her ignorance against his experience and the article will not go into print without his blessing. She is now waiting to hear from Mr Bunting. Her questions have been returned by Mr Bennett and answered by the gentleman he sent it to but the answers are so vague as to be practically worthless. Important however not to delay publication, as even by Jan the information may seem hopelessly out of date
