Josephine Butler to 'My dear Friends' [the Priestmans]

Scope and Content

Written from Hotel Grande Bretagne, Le Cannet, Cannes.

She is to be quite alone this Christmas and will miss George's marriage on 19 Jan [he married Mia St. Paul a niece of JB's. See letter of 29 Jul 1892 JB to Miss P.]. Her sister Hatty and her husband have been staying with her. About the LNA Report asks her if she could write a sketch of it roughly and send it to her to work up. Very difficult for her to do it from the beginning with no reference aids.
