Date: JB writes to the Miss Priestmans: 'Now I feel that everything is so uncertain that I long more than ever to see you and Mary.'
On 26 May (Thursday) she writes to Mrs Clark: 'I had such a sweet visit from Mrs Tanner and Mary Priestman.'
The visit took place on a Saturday ('could you come on Saturday do you think') which would be the 21st and Wednesday when she wrote would therefore be the 18th.
