Photocopy of letter. Written from Wimbledon. She is anxious to tell them about the bears and the birds she saw in Switzerland. Then comes a delightful picture of these white birds rising up from the frozen lake on which her hotel window looks and catching the crumbs that she throws to them. 'It got to be such a sight that working men going along the quay used to stop to see them fed and look up at me and talk to me : 'elles sont bien sages, Madame, elles savent leur amies'
