Josephine Butler to Mrs Wilson

Scope and Content

Written from London. Very upset by Mrs Wilson's remarks and cannot understand how she got the impression that she thought unkindly of 'any man among that dear and noble set of men who are working for us women and for morality'. She asks for the return of her letter that she may try to understand how such an impression arose.
