Scope and Content

Written from 2 Victoria Villas, Wooler, Northumberland to Fawcett in Naples.

She has now written her reply to the contributors of that kind gift - 'it was written from my heart'. One little trouble - the photo of herself meant to accompany her letter was taken by Emily Ford when she was lying very ill at Cheltenham. She looks deathly and no one likes it. Elliot and Fry's last portrait is presentable and they have offered to do a smaller size. She now awaits a reply from Miss Priestman.
