Written from Stoke Lodge [written shortly after his letter of 6 Feb]. Asking him what he thinks of the usability of the communications from Madame Mario. She writes 'I am working hard for you in Rome and I can get statistics that no one else can'. She would like to undertake a tour of investigation for which a month would be required and about £40. Asks him his opinion and if he approves would he write her a letter of instruction and suggestions as to the respects in which her first report could be improved.
