Written from Winchester. Advises that Miss Bewicke be left out of these arrangements altogether. Judging the claimants for hospitality a difficult task. There are also those of a humbler class who would be better put together. She cannot bear Prince's Hall. Like speaking in a tunnel; would be better to have Exeter Hall. She dreads the pending General Election [see letter of 8 Jun]
