'Referring to the indications that are multiplying of a design to attempt a re-imposition of the Contagious Diseases Acts in this country and India ...' Josephine Butler urges everyone to pray that God will thwart all the designs of these men. In her old age she sees more clearly than ever that no prayers are unanswered.
