Scope and Content

Robert Penty of Heslington, joiner; George John Yarburgh of Heslington Hall, esq.
14 poles freehold in the Low Field, in the township of St Lawrence, to the east, and the allotment made to Joseph Haw to the north-east, and ending in a point towards the north, he being responsible for the fences and ditches on the north west, west, and south sides; allotment of 14 poles freehold in the same field and township, as granted to him from John Charlton, having his above allotment to the north, the Outgang Rd. to the west. Penty being responsible for the fences on the west and south sides. Being freehold, with the four cottages or tenements built thereon and now in the occupations of [ ] Tasker, William Cooper, William Swan, and Thomas Bell; the copyhold lands comprising cottage or tenement with workshops, buildings and gardens, contiguous to and behind the same to be surrendered but held by Penty as trustee until the surrender completed.
Penty covenants for title, peaceful possession, unencumbrance, and assurance of title.
£400 for the freehold lands; £425 for the copyhold lands.
