Christopher Jorden, als. Jarthen, of Snaith, gent., and Suzan his wife; Edward Stanhope of Gray's Inn, Middx., esq.
¼ of Snaith Hall and cottage now or late in occupation of Peter Almond, with ¼ of appurtenances and fixtures of the buildings as at the death of Richard Radcliffe, gent., deceased, her father; ¼ of the 4 closes adjoining Snaith Hall, with rights in Hatfield, Dykesmarshe, Snaith or Cowick.
Suzan was one of the 4 daughters of Margaret, daughter of Thomas Dilcocke, gent., wife of Richard Riccarde, in whose right he held the lands for his life. He died 30 March 1595, Suzan then inheriting her share.
Fine to be completed by 1 April next, provided that Jorden and his wife do not have to go further than York or Doncaster.
If one of Jordens dies so that fine not effected, sum to be repaid by 21 April next, at Stanhope's house at Grimston upon Wharfe, near Tadcaster.
Warranty for 3 years.
