Scope and Content

Admission of Joseph Hanks the younger of Snaith, linen and woollen draper, following surrender made out of court on 20 July 1807 by Isaac Ward of Snaith, gent.
Messuage, tenement or dwellinghouse in Snaith, with its warehouse, garden and garth, then occupied by Joseph Hanks the younger, and lately by Isaac Ward; two stables adjoining the warehouse, then in the occupation of Mr Clarke, surgeon; an outbuilding adjoining the garden, in the occupation of Mrs Riley, widow, used as a brewhouse. Ward reserves a right of way across the yard to certain tenements of his at the back thereof (the arrangmenets set out in detail).
