Legros had been appointed by royal letters patent of same date, at the nomination of Vanbrough.
Legros will pay to Vanbrough all monies received from the king and queen as payment for his office, retaining only the casual profits for himself. He will surrender the office at Vanbrough's request during his life, or within a month of his death; but will not resign without his consent.
