Scope and Content

Robert Knowsley, late of Garton, and now of Cattleholmes, esq., of the first part; Thomas Wilson of York, esq., an alderman, of the second part; Thomas Hartley of York, esq., an alderman, of the third part.
2 closes of arable, meadow or pasture in Fulford, containing 12 acres, formerly in the tenure of Thomas Nicholson or his assigns, afterwards in the tenure of Richard Hobson, and now in the tenure of Robert Knowsley, which closes are held free from tithes.
To such uses as Thomas Wilson shall appoint by deed or writing; and in default of, or until such appointment, to the use of Thomas Wilson and his assigns during his natural life, without impeachment of waste; after the determination of that estate by any means in his lifetime, to the use of Thomas Hartley and his heirs during the natural life of Thomas Wilson, in trust for Thomas Wilson and his assigns for his life; and, subject to the uses and trust hereinbefore limited, to the use of Thomas Wilson, his heirs and assigns, for ever.
