William Hudson the younger, of Sykehouse, husbandman; Nicholas Waller of the same, yoeman.
Close of 3 acres, called Toghantoftes, in Sykehouse.
Hudson covenants to warrant and discharge lands against Jenett Hudson (his grandmother) during her life. Possession to be entered on Lady Day 1557.
Waller covenants that Richard Holred may occupy the lands for 3 years from Lady Day next, paying 13/4d. rent to Waller for the last year thereof. Hudson is to pay the chief rents due to the King and Queen for the next two years. Waller is not to fell trees for the first two years if Jenett Hudson is still living.
£13, of which £6-10-0d to be paid immediately, remainder at feast of the Purification next following.
