Scope and Content

A series of plans (and three photographic reproductions of plans) relating to RD's proposed house in Hampstead Garden Suburb. Includes designs by Charles Annesley Voysey and C. Cowles-Voysey. These are as follows:

  • /1-8 Dyline plans and elevations of a house at Hampstead, designed by C. Cowles-Voysey of 14 Gray's Inn Square, London, for Mr and Mrs Robert Donat (June 1936 and n.d.).
  • /9 Plan showing proposed layout of houses in the Bishops Avenue, for Messrs R. Hart and Sons Ltd, by John C.S. Soutar of 'Wyldes', North End, Hampstead; presumably relates to the area where RD's house was being planned (n.d.)
  • /10 Modern photographic print by John Donat of an elevation drawing of the planned Hampstead house, by C. Cowles-Voysey (original dated June 1936).
  • /11-12 Modern photographic prints by John Donat of plans and elevations of the seventh scheme for a house, possibly on the same site as /1-10, designed by Charles Annesley Voysey (original dated May 1936).
