General Notes

Scope and Content

The following subseries comprises miscellaneous typescript and handwritten material that was found loose in the collection prior to cataloguing, two items in total. The notes on the loose card are very hard to read but obviously in Harold Blundell's hand, while the typescript list of Blundell's literary works is retained within the folder in which it was stored after being deposited at the Library with an enclosed note card.

In the process of arranging the collection two items were found loose from the remainder of the files that comprise the 'Research Notes' series BLU/4. The first (BLU/4/4/1) was a small piece of card with handwritten notes on both sides pertaining to the creative arts. The second (BLU/4/4/2) is an A4 card folder for Reports and Accounts for the year ending 30 September 1973 bearing the logo of Ernest Scragg & Sons (Holdings) Ltd, containing a small piece of card with handwritten notes on both sides and a typescript list of Harold Blundell's published works. The two items appear to fit with much of the additional material in BLU/4/3/1-2, but have been granted their own subseries at the end of this series since it cannot be ascertained exactly where they fit within the collection beyond the 'Research Notes' grouping.
