Scope and Content

File of loose press cuttings comprising newspaper articles written by Harold Blundell. The majority of the articles in this file were short stories Blundell submitted to the Manchester Guardian while working as a freelance journalist and date from 1947-1956. Amongst the cuttings are some early examples of the detective stories for which he later became famous. Titles include 'Inspector Dupanloup', 'Penal Servitude' and 'The Dictator'.
