Scope and Content

LETTERS: S. B. James, Wakefield, Windsor to John Watkins Jones and the trustees of the Free Grammar School, Beaumaris [Anglesey]. He asks Mr. Jones to lay before the trustees a copy of the book: 'Church and Society,' the appendix of which relates to grammar school education. In his letter to the trustees he mentions the same book and asks them to accept it, but he would like his testimonials returned. He also adds that he would not be satisfied if confined to the old routine of Latin and Greek.
