LETTERS: Rev G. C. Swanyne, 8 Berkeley Sq., Bristol to J[ohn] Jones, asking for information about the David Hughes Free Grammar School. He is very anxious to learn about the amount paid by the pupils in order to provide for proper assistants. He adds that if the boys only pay a small amount the school will not be able to take a high place. He finds it hard to make up his mind whether to apply, but he has had his testimonials printed. In his last letter he expresses his wish to be at Beaumaris on the day of the election and will be ready to start for Beaumaris at a moment's notice.
