Each volume contains the Trust's Annual Report and the annual minutes of the Trustees, Executive Committee and Sub-Committees, and includes a table of contents and an index. The collection does not include the volume for 1940.

Administrative / Biographical History
The Carnegie United Kingdom Trust was founded in 1913 by the industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie (1835-1919) to further the well-being of the people of Great Britain and Ireland. The Trust provides support for projects in the arts, heritage and social welfare, and has helped to build many libraries, museums and theatres. The Trust's think tank organises initiatives and contributes to public policy analysis.
Conditions Governing Access
MSS.Add.8038-8055 have a closure period of fifty years from the date of their publication. The rest of the collection is open for consultation by holders of a Reader's Ticket valid for the Manuscripts Reading Room.
