Administrative / Biographical History
North Wales Arts Association (Cymdeithas Celfyddydau Gogledd Cymru), founded in 1964, funded clubs and societies and promoted cultural and artistic exhibitions and festivals in North Wales. The Association had links to schools and local writers. It produced a bi-annual magazine, Mabon, published in English and Welsh. The Association had a number of sub-committees, including art, drama, literature, and music panels.
