Hampton Poyle is located 6 miles north of Oxford.
The records were originally deposited with the Bodleian Library in 1951, 1976 and 1973. The records were then transferred to the Oxfordshire History Centre. Additional material was deposited as Acc 2672/1 in April 1987, Acc 2934 in February 1987, Acc 3211 in February 1991, Acc 3712 in October 1993, part of Acc 4858 in June 2001 and Acc 6286 in June 2014.
