The collection of papyri in the University Library is of some antiquity and unclear provenance.
Papyrus 1 Beginning of a receipt for chaff supplied to soldiers on the march through Oxrhynchus from an unknown place. c.AD299. (Oxyrhynchus Papyri, vol.12, no.1543, p.268). 8x9cm.
