Including topics such as being organist at a Guinean Memorial Church, lectures, writing his book 'Organising Music in the Army', harmony and orchestra classes, the weather, a planned trip to the Grand Rabbi to hear some native music, and plans for Whitsuntide. Also includes a brief reflection on his work with the army and his thoughts on education in the army. Mentions Corporal Jim Crow. [12pp]
