Scope and Content

Series of papers and correspondence relating to the printing and use of parts and scores for performances of Indra. Includes correspondence to and between Rosamund Strode, on behalf of the Holst Foundation, and Colin Matthews. Incldues correspondence and papers relating to performances by The London Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Daid Atherton, Lyrita recording (1988); The Britten-Pears Orchestra, Aldeburgh Festival, conducted by Sakari Oramo (2002), and the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (2004). Some correspondence also regards a ballet arrangement of The Planets, H125, by Vally Lasker. Also includes papers relating to corrections and queries of the score, mainly by Rosamund Strode.
