From 1952 to 1954 Imogen Holst made entries on an almost daily basis which give a detailed and personal view of her work with Benjamin Britten and life in Aldeburgh. This diary is transcribed in 'Imogen Holst: A life in music' edited by Christopher Grogan, Aldeburgh Studies in Music 7, The Boydell Press, Woodbridge, 2007. Also held are typescript copies of the redacted version of the diary edited by Imogen Holst in 1981, typescript copies of the ommitted passages compiled after her death and correspondence.
