Dictionary of Welsh Biography Photographs

Three photographs taken on the occasion of the publication of the Dictionary of Welsh Biography, comprising: 

• Sir Wyn Wheldon and Sir John Cecil Cecil-Williams outside the gates of Buckingham Palace on their way to present copies to the Queen and Prince of Wales
• Reception at the City Hall, Cardiff, Sir Wyn Weldon presenting a copy to the Lord Mayor; a group of Cymmrodorion officials with the Lord Mayor

The Dictionary of Welsh Biography was published in June 1959 under the auspices of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion. Its editors were John Edward Lloyd, R.T. Jenkins, William Llewelyn Davies and Margaret Beatrice Davies.

Material is arranged in chronological order and incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts .
