Future of Lanchester’s relations with the B.S.A. and Daimler Companies, which was raised in Martin’s letter of 10 October 1928 (LAN/1 5/12). Accepts suggestion of retaining fee of £1,000, on certain conditions (e.g. Lanchester would attend on one day per week, retain office at Daimler, etc.). He can see that Daimler, having acquired Pomeroy, needs less of Frederick Lanchester. Asks for modification of agreement with Lanchester’s Laboratories Ltd. Whereby Daimler has option of acquiring all future inventions with Frederick Lanchester.
