Relieved to know that Professor Lockhart is well [after an illness at Christmas]. They are getting on quite well as Frederick Lanchester's health has improved - he goes for walks with her on nice days and manages to write one or two letters most days. His eyesight has improved but is waiting for new spectacles: 'He is very cheery as a rule and full of interest in all sorts of things as usual'.
