Letter from E.D. Adrian to Frederick Lanchester

Scope and Content

Recommends direct photography of eye movement. Sends reprint of paper by W.R. Miles “Horizontal eye movements at onset of sleep” and makes some comments on ocular mobility. Thinks Lanchester would get a different result for his own field of colour vision if it were tested with very small coloured objects and suggests he test his colour vision with a perimeter. Makes a tentative explanation of Lanchester’s collapse at G.W.R. train whistle (see LAN/1/8/4).
