Is sorry to hear that his brother Frank and Mrs Lanchester were bombed out of their hotel in Kenilworth, and imagining them in their little cottage in Arden with Betty. Is able to tell him about Mr Chamberlain's illness, as the doctor who used to look after him when he was in his part of the country is Lockhart's current doctor.
