Thanks her for the article on The Barnes Library. Notes that although Aberdeen University is old, he still thinks that the Birmingham Medical School is the finest in the country. He had a battle with the architects to have a rubber floor in the dissecting room. He notes that the architects for the Barnes Library were Lanchester & Lodge, and mentions his acquaintance with all the Lanchester brothers, and that Frederick Lanchester carried out some work on anatomy.
