Handwritten manuscript of unpublished work by Frederick Lanchester “The Elements of Flight” or “An Introduction to the study of Flight”

There is no indication of date but the handwriting suggests a period before the 1930s. Frederick Lanchester's biographer Dr Peter Kingsford (see p. 213 of FW Lanchester - a life of an engineer 1960) dates this manuscript to before 1914. Items LAN/1/17/2-6 which sketch out plans for a new book on aeronautics (dated 1934 and 1935) were with the manuscript, suggesting that Lanchester hoped to use some of the material from the old manuscript.
