Scope and Content

Includes images of the LMS Turbomotive no. 6202, built in 1935, before and after its conversion into BR 46202 'Princess Anne', which was destroyed after two months of service in the Harrow and Wealdstone rail disaster of October 8th 1952, which resulted in the deaths of 112 people. Also includes Caledonian Railway Single no. 123 and LSWR T9 no. 120 on a Bluebell Railway excursion train and preserved Midland Railway 1000 class no. 1000. Also, BR classes; 40, 33, 20, 45 (D64, also destroyed in an accident in 1983), 17, 81, 86 and various DMUs and stations.
