North Whitehead was a Professor, whose son, Eric A. Whitehead, was serving with the 24th Battalion, RFC (Royal Flying Corps), and whose daughter, Jessie Whitehead, was a Clerk with the British Delegation in Paris for the Versailles Peace Conference in 1919.
