He hopes to reach a compromise with Sir W. H. White with regard to his 'rule of two-thirds full speed of revolutions astern', and is also looking for a site with room for both engine works and some shipbuilding. He has made observations regarding resistance in the model as compared to the Turbinia. Proposes that the next alterations will be 'increased chimney and airways', also putting on the new propellers.
