Thanks Beaton for his letter. They are having a lovely time in spite of there being no show. They are enacting a play written by the youngest daughter. Is playing Cromwell and 'enlivening' the part by 'sitting down on a whoopee-cushion'. The 'Mad boy' is dancing a pavane. Will be back on 4 January. Invites Beaton to make use of Halkin Street.
