Administrative / Biographical History
Griffith Williams, 1769-1838, was born in Waunfawr, Gwynedd. He was ordained a poet by Iolo Morgannwg at the 1799 Eisteddfod and he produced and published many poems. He was known by his bardic name, Gutyn Peris, and lived at Braichtalog, Llandegai in 1810.
