ACCOUNT: Monies repaid by [Christian]Blackett, Treasurer of the County of Northumberland, to the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Hexham for what they paid to the wife and child of Thomas James, serving in the Militia of the County of Anglesey as a substitute for John Thomas of the Parish of Llangefni, for the period 28th December 1807 to 18th April 1808 in the amount of 3s 0d a week, totalling £2 8s 0d. The account also mentions the total outstanding amount as £18 6s 0d.
