Videocassette containing two television programmes recorded by Bowden; first deals with computing in Manchester, and includes contribution by Bowden. The second programme deals with Sir John Charnley, inventor of the artificial hip, who was a professor of structural engineering at UMIST. There are additional notes by Bowden on both programmes, including some interesting comments on his own involvement with computer development in the UK>
