Papers relating to a memorial service for A. P. Rowe (1898-1976), former superintendent of the Telecommunications Research Establishment, for which Bowden worked during the Second World War. The memorial service, which Bowden helped organize, was held at Malvern Priory on 18 June 1976. Present in the file is a copy of the address delivered by J. A. Radcliffe, a copy of the obituary of Rowe (by Bernard Lovell) from the Times, 31 May 1976, and correspondence with Sir Hugh Robson, Sir Robert Cockburn, A. F. Wilkins, Edmund Dixon, Alison Munro, Sir Sam Curran, Roland Lees, Sir Arthur Vick, W. Bennett Lewis, and Molly Rowe, widow of Rowe.
