Alastair Matheson was a writer and journalist who spent much of his working life in Africa. Matheson worked as a stringer for the Observer in Kenya, 1979-1988. The Observer featured articles by Matheson between 1963 and 1993. His articles were also syndicated through the Observer Foreign News Service (Servob).
