Scope and Content

Mainly contains correspondence relating to John Piper's involvement with the management of the Kenton Theatre, Henley-on-Thames. Includes a desk diary for 1949 re-used for a mailing list, further lists of names, a publicity leaflet, an excise license for the Kenton Theatre, a copy letter from Basil Douglas to Eric Walter White regarding the English Opera Group and papers relating to the Reading Education Committee. One letter encloses photographs. Also includes examples of Kenton Theatre Company paper and a report on the electrical wiring of the theatre.
